On July 9, a delegation of four representatives from Dürr, one of the world’s leading suppliers of paint shop systems and application technology, visited Jiangsu Surico Machinery Co., Ltd. The delegation included the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Project Procurement Manager, Engineering Director, and Quality Manager, who toured Surico’s intelligent paint shop production line and digital manufacturing workshops. The visit focused on Surico’s capabilities in paint shop system integration, modular manufacturing, process quality management, and global project delivery standards. During the visit, the two companies also held in-depth discussions on technical collaboration and supply chain cooperation in the field of paint shop engineering.
During the visit, the Dürr delegation toured Surico’s intelligent manufacturing workshops, provincial enterprise R&D Center, and corporate exhibition hall. They observed the operation of key production systems, including the automated welding system, intelligent automatic powder coating system, and robotic painting workstations. Surico’s representatives provided the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the company’s integrated planning capabilities across welding, painting, and final assembly system for the automotive, construction machinery, and specialty vehicle industries. They also highlighted the company’s recent achievements in flexible production line design, energy management, and digital operation and maintenance.
Throughout the visit, the Dürr delegation commended Surico’s comprehensive capabilities in customized non-standard painting line design, modular manufacturing, and on-site installation and commissioning. The two sides also exchanged views on specific topics, including production line cycle time optimization and the development of remote operation and maintenance platforms.
The visit by one of the world’s foremost paint shop system companies not only reflects industry recognition of Surico’s manufacturing capabilities and technical expertise, but also creates a strong foundation for deeper collaboration on future international projects.
