Expanding Further into the International Market — Jiangsu Suli Machinery Launches Structural Parts Spray Painting Line Project in India

Recently, the structural parts spray painting production line project in India undertaken by Jiangsu Suli Machinery Co., Ltd. has officially entered the implementation stage. At present, the overall process design, equipment design, and production planning for the project have been fully completed. The relevant equipment is now being prepared for production according to the project schedule. With the successful completion of the preliminary design work, the project is about to enter the on-site installation and construction phase. The company’s engineering and technical team will soon travel to the project site in India to carry out equipment installation and system commissioning.

Coated Parts

In recent years, with the continuous adjustment of the global manufacturing industry chain, an increasing number of Chinese manufacturing enterprises have accelerated their “going global” strategy by establishing production bases or subsidiaries overseas. As a key process in industrial manufacturing, coating plays a crucial role in product quality, corrosion resistance, and appearance. Therefore, in the process of building overseas production systems, constructing a stable, efficient, and environmentally friendly coating production line is particularly important. The structural parts spray painting line built by Jiangsu Suli Machinery in India is one of the important supporting projects for Chinese manufacturing enterprises expanding their overseas operations.

As a professional company that has long been deeply engaged in the coating equipment industry, Jiangsu Suli Machinery Co., Ltd. has accumulated extensive experience in the overall planning, process design, equipment manufacturing, and project implementation of spray painting lines. Based on the characteristics of the products and production requirements of the Indian project, the company’s technical team carried out systematic design from multiple dimensions, including process flow, equipment layout, environmental protection requirements, and production rhythm, ensuring that the entire production line can meet the comprehensive requirements of structural components for corrosion resistance, surface quality, and production efficiency.

From the perspective of process flow, the coating production line of this project mainly includes several key process sections, such as the pretreatment and shot blasting system, putty treatment and drying system, primer and topcoat spraying system, flash-off and leveling system, drying and curing system, and finished product inspection stations. Each process is connected through a well-designed workflow and conveying system to achieve continuous production.

At the front end of the production line, the workpieces first enter the pretreatment and shot blasting process. High-speed shot blasting is used to treat the surface of the workpieces, effectively removing oxide layers, rust, and impurities. This treatment allows the substrate surface to achieve an appropriate roughness, thereby significantly enhancing coating adhesion and providing a stable and reliable foundation for subsequent spraying processes. This step is particularly important for improving the corrosion resistance of structural components.

After the shot blasting process, the workpieces enter the putty treatment area. For minor surface defects that may exist on structural components, operators manually apply putty to level the surface and fill depressions or imperfections. The workpieces then enter the drying process to ensure that the putty layer is fully cured. After drying, the components undergo forced cooling and fine grinding, allowing the substrate surface to achieve higher flatness and providing an ideal base for subsequent coating.

In terms of the spraying process, the project adopts manual spraying for both primer and topcoat, combined with flash-off and leveling procedures to ensure uniform coating thickness and strong interlayer adhesion. After primer application, a flash-off process allows solvents to evaporate appropriately, improving the stability of the coating film. The topcoat is then applied, followed by a leveling process that further enhances the surface quality of the coating, resulting in a more uniform and refined appearance.

During the coating of complete structural assemblies, the production line is also equipped with a dedicated touch-up booth for localized repainting. This ensures coating integrity and consistency on the surface of the entire structure. In practical production, this process can effectively improve the overall appearance quality of products and reduce rework rates.

After spraying is completed, the workpieces enter the drying and curing system. Through hot-air circulation heating, the topcoat is cured to achieve stable physical properties and strong adhesion. The components then pass through a forced cooling process before entering the final inspection area. At this stage, operators remove masking materials, perform touch-up painting if necessary, and carry out comprehensive inspections to ensure that the products meet all requirements in terms of appearance quality, coating integrity, and process standards before being approved for delivery.

It is understood that the project has now completed the overall scheme design and detailed engineering design, while equipment production preparations are progressing in an orderly manner. According to the project plan, Jiangsu Suli Machinery will soon dispatch professional engineering and technical personnel to the project site in India to carry out equipment installation, system commissioning, and process optimization, ensuring that the entire coating production line is constructed and put into operation as scheduled.

With the increasing number of overseas projects, Jiangsu Suli Machinery Co., Ltd. continues to strengthen its comprehensive capabilities in international coating engineering. From Europe to Southeast Asia and now to the South Asian market, the company has gradually gained recognition from more and more international customers thanks to its reliable equipment quality, mature engineering experience, and professional technical team.

The launch of the India project represents another important step in the international development of Jiangsu Suli Machinery and further demonstrates the company’s professional capability and competitiveness in the global coating equipment industry. In the future, Suli Machinery will continue to be driven by technological innovation and guided by engineering quality, providing global manufacturing customers with more efficient and reliable integrated coating production line solutions.
