Case share——Integrated intelligent coating line for large workpiece shot blasting and painting.

Original workshop relied on manual spraying for a long period, resulting in uneven rust removal of large workpieces, significant paint film color variation, substandard corrosion protection, high labor cost, and difficulty meeting exhaust emission requirements. Export order coating quality could not satisfy international anti-corrosion standards.

The company initiated a 5-million-level (USD) intelligent upgrade project for the coating workshop and selected Jiangsu Suli Machinery to provide an integrated solution for a large workpiece shot blasting system + three-spray, three-bake painting line.

1.Renovation scope:

   The overall renovation covers the 2nd and 3rd spans of Workshop No. 3. The 2nd span is arranged for a heavy-duty large workpiece shot blasting line, and the 3rd span is built as a fully automatic primer / base coat / topcoat spray and drying production line. The existing overhead cranes in the plant are used for inter-process transfer of workpieces. The original small-part powder coating and manual touch-up stations are retained, enabling compatible parallel production of old and new lines.

2.. Delivery schedule:

   From proposal, equipment manufacturing, on-site installation, piping installation, and electrical control commissioning to full-line trial production, the total installation period is only about 3+ months, ensuring on-time commissioning without affecting order delivery schedules.

3.. Project results:

   The production line achieved stable mass production. Film uniformity, corrosion protection grade, production efficiency, and environmental compliance all meet requirements. The owner provided highly positive feedback, and the line has become a demonstration project for large-scale coating of heavy conveying equipment in Southwest China.Loading
